The short version
Wordwagon has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, and no backend of its own. The app reports anonymous gameplay statistics. This website records basic visit and referral information so the developer can understand how people found it.

What stays on your device
Your puzzle progress, completed results, and record of which days you opened the app are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it permanently, and there is no copy anywhere else.
What the app collects
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to record anonymous gameplay events. Each event carries only game context—never the words you play.

Firebase also records standard technical context: app version, device model, operating-system version, coarse region, and an anonymous app-instance identifier generated by Google. That identifier is not linked to you, your device's permanent ID, or any account.
What this website collects
This website uses Google Analytics to record page views, the referring website or campaign, broad device and browser information, and a coarse region. Links from Wordwagon result shares can carry a source tag so those visits can be counted separately. Analytics storage and advertising storage are disabled, so Wordwagon does not set analytics or advertising cookies through this website.
This website also uses Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless page-view counter built into the hosting platform. It does not use cookies or persistent identifiers and does not track you across sites.
The website does not ask for your name, email address, account, or any gameplay information.
What is never collected
- The words you submit, the letters you draft, or your action history
- Your name, email address, phone number, or contacts
- Your advertising ID or Android SSAID—both are explicitly disabled in the app's configuration
- Precise location
- Photos, files, microphone, or camera
- Screen recordings or session replays
The app does not set a Firebase user ID and does not create any identifier of its own.
Why it is collected
The app data is used solely to understand whether the game works: whether new players grasp the rules, whether anyone returns the next day, and which features go unused. Website data is used to understand which links and referrals bring people to Wordwagon. The data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used to build an advertising profile.
Who processes it
Google processes Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics data on the developer's behalf. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Firebase uses data. Analytics data is retained according to the project's Google Analytics retention setting and is then deleted automatically. Vercel processes Web Analytics data on the developer's behalf; see Vercel's Privacy Policy.
Your choices
Because app analytics are anonymous and tied to no account, the developer cannot look up or delete “your” app records specifically. To stop app collection, uninstall the app; this also erases everything stored locally. You can limit website analytics with browser tracking protections or an analytics-blocking extension.
Children
Wordwagon is a general-audience word game. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's store listing.
